Welcome to the Miami Greek Festival!

It's that Greek time of the year again! The 34th annual Miami Greek Festival kicks off on Friday, November 11 and continues through Sunday, November 13, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more than three decades, this colorful celebration has offered a fun, festive way for the South Florida community to experience a taste of the Greek culture. Located at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, on 7901 North Kendall Drive, the festival provides all things Greek, from mouth-watering food and made from scratch pastries, to authentic folk dances and music. We also host marketplace with a variety of merchandise stands, to a kids zone with rides for the little ones and ongoing wine tastings for the adults, the festival caters to every member of the family.

"We are excited to present this grand event once again this year," states Alex Sarafoglu, festival co-chairman. "We are looking forward to everyone coming out and enjoying this wonderful tradition. We want to especially thank all of the families and members of our community who support this festival year after year making it a great success. We couldn't do it without their endless hard work and commitment."

Bring the whole family, come out and enjoy the festival starting on November 11. Remember, while you visit us, you are Greek for the day so start practicing your Opa!

St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, located in the heart of Kendall, opened its doors in the mid-1970s. With its steep cathedral ceiling and beautiful stained glass, it has become a landmark of sorts standing proudly on North Kendall Drive.Our parish has about 250 families and continues to grow its membership each year. Our doors are always open, as well as our hearts, to all those who seek Christ. We boast a large and tight-knit childrens Sunday School as well as a very active Greek Orthodox Youth Association (GOYA). Additionally, separate Spanish language worship services are offered by our wonderful priest Father Aristidis, who speaks five languages! If you would like to learn more about Orthodox Christianity, please feel free to join us for worship any Sunday. You can also contact us by phone (305-595-1343) or email (standrewfl_aol.com).The Miami Greek Festival, our largest fundraiser of the year, allows us to share our Greek heritage with the wonderful South Florida community. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy delicious Greek food and pastries (made on the premises!) and beverages as well as traditional music and dancing. There are also opportunities to purchase authentic Greek merchandise and beautiful gifts. Most importantly, though, it is a fun, lively, three-day party enjoyed by alland thats why we call it The Biggest Greek Party in Town!!

The 34th Annual Miami Greek Festival kicks off Friday, November 11th, and continues through Sunday, November 13th. Presented by St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Kendall, the Miami Greek Festival provides all things Greek from mouth-watering Greek food and homemade Greek pastries to authentic music and dance. There are even rides for the kids and wine tastings for the adults. For more than three decades, this colorful celebration has offered a fun, festive way for the Miami community to be a part of the Greek culture if even just for a long weekend. This years festival falls on Veterans Day weekend so organizers are expecting a larger than usual turnout. Were excited once again to present this wonderful event. It falls on a three-day weekend so theres an extra day to experience it, says festival co-chairman Alex Sarafoglu. Were looking forward to everyone coming out and enjoying the food and fun that this tradition provides year after year. The three-day event opens each day at 11 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. Children 12 and under are free and adults are $5. The festival is held at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 7901 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, 33156. This year, three nearby parking locations will feature free shuttle buses to easily transport festival-goers to the church grounds. Buses will run Friday, from 6 PM to 10:45 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 10:45 PM.The three parking lots are located at: Dadeland Medical Plaza, 7400 N. Kendall Drive Kenwood Elementary School, 9300 SW 79 Ave. Galloway Plaza, 9095 SW 87 Ave.
